Fruit Crumble

175g margarine.
¾ cup raw sugar.
2½ cups SR wholemeal flour.
1 can pie apricots, apples or jar of fruit mince.


Mix softened butter and sugar together in a bowl.
Rub in the flour with your fingers until the mixture resembles bread crumbs.
Using half the crumb mix, cover bottom of pan and press down until firm.
Top with apricots, apples or fruit mince.
Cover with remaining crumb mix and press down lightly.
Place the lid on the pan with the vent open and cook on medium heat until the lid is touch hot.
Turn down to low and cook for 20 minutes.
Turn over onto a plate and return to the pan for a further 10 minutes with the top down to brown the other side.
Leave the lid off.
