General Description:

A thorny pest weed vine in some areas of Australia and around the world.
The fruit of the vine are dark shiny berries.
Berry consists of drupelets attached to a central receptacle.


Selection:

Look for berries that are firm, dry and a uniform purple / black colour.

Storage & Handling Information:

Keep in their original container - removing any damaged berries. Will keep in the fridge for a couple of days - be aware they are very perishable so use as soon as possible.
Can also be frozen - wash and dry them gently and initially freeze them on a flat surface e.g a cooking tray. Once frozen transfer to a freezer bag. Can remain frozen for up to a year.
