Cauliflower is a vegetable that is packed full of goodness.
Made up of very densely packed flower buds.
Surrounded by green leaves.
Typical colour is white, other colours are available as there are several varieties - some colourings are artificially induced.
When choosing a cauliflower look for heads that are white, firm and tightly packed.
Cream or yellowing heads often indicate age and they are not as fresh.
Avoid those with floppy leaves.
Great source of Fibre and Vitamin C.
