Fuji apple as its name suggests originates from Japan - where it is very popular.
Round in shape with a dull pink/red colour.
Fragrantly sweet with an excellent honey-like flavour.
Will last a long time in the fridge.

Choose apples that are brightly coloured, firm, and free of bruises or damaged skin.
If the flesh gives under pressure, the apple will be soft.
