Variety Description:
A Lady Hamilton crossed with a Granny Smith.
Skin is red-flushed and striped over greenish gold background.
Pale cream flesh.
Good for eating - has firm juicy flesh and sweet flavour.
Not a good apple for cooking.
Selection:
Choose apples that are brightly coloured, firm, and free of bruises or damaged skin.
If the flesh gives under pressure, the apple will be soft.
